Award Categories
Employer of the Year:
This award recognizes individuals or organizations that do an outstanding job of recruiting/accommodating/hiring/training and/or promoting individuals with disabilities and/or other significant barriers.
Criteria: Outside employer/organization that partners with Goodwill for job placement.
Mission Partner Award:
This award recognizes community business partners who support Goodwill’s services through joint funding/grant writing, allocation of resources to joint agency goals, and/or joint promotion of shared service goals.
Criteria: Outside employer/organization that partners with Goodwill
Community Business Partner:
This award recognizes businesses that support Goodwill through cash and/or in-kind contributions or nonprofit discounts.
Criteria: Must be a community business.
Volunteer of the Year:
This award recognizes the contributions of an individual/team
from outside the organization who support Goodwill and its programs through active volunteerism. (i.e., organizing a donation drive, offering interview workshops for participants, sorting donations for
production, etc.)
Criteria: Outside individual, not a Goodwill team member.
Goodwill Champion Award:
This award recognizes an individual, business or organization in the community that exemplifies the mission, vision and values of Goodwill, and seeks to promote our services, retail business or donation acquisition.
Criteria: Cannot be a Goodwill employee. Must be external to Goodwill.
